Iconic singer/songwriter Rodney Crowell is a multi-Grammy-winning artist with fifteen number one hits. Over the course of his multi-decade career, Crowell has successfully blended his own mainstream success as an artist with a prolific catalog of songs cut by top artists including Emmylou Harris, Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings, Keith Urban, establishing him a master among his peers.
A member of the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame, Crowell is also the author of the acclaimed memoir, Chinaberry Sidewalks. He’s also recognized as an uniquely gifted lyricist, an aspect of his wide-ranging talent that is captured in “Word for Word,” his lyric-based coffee table book.
Having admired other Cronin Creative-designed coffee table books, Crowell tapped Karen Cronin to handle the design of “Word for Word.” The result is a book that deftly showcases Crowell’s artistry and career and will serve as a treasured keepsake for the singer/songwriter’s legions of fans.
On the heels of that successful book project, the Cronin/Crowell collaboration continued with the design of the CD package for Crowell’s “The Chicago Sessions” and through a complete design overhaul of the artist’s website.
