As longtime members and board members for the Nashville chapter of the American Marketing Association (NAMA), we’re very familiar with the many benefits the organization provides. So we were particularly excited when NAMA President Liz Denning announced recently that our own Karen Cronin was being honored as one of NAMA’s Volunteers of the Year.

Overseeing a recent NAMA brand refresh, Karen and Cronin Creative put together a “Meet Me at NAMA” campaign that showcased the organization as the destination for Nashville’s thriving marketing community.

In addition, as Collegiate Relations chair, Karen was the driving force behind this year’s highly successful “Marketing the Marketer” event, which brought Nashville CMOs and young marketers together in a lively, roundtable format.

“The reason Karen is a Volunteer of the Year is not just because of this year, but because of her longstanding commitment to NAMA,” Denning says. “If you need something right away, Karen will drop what she’s doing and help. She’s always ready to pitch in, a true volunteer in every sense of the word.”
