Inspiration At Work #32 – A Coder By Design!
Way back in the mid-1990s, when a website was a relatively new idea, Kenneth White finished school and dove headfirst into web design. Back then, the online world was small enough that designers served as coders and vice versa, and over the course of his nearly 20-year career, White has done plenty of both. These days, as the head of his own company, SPRCLLDR, he’s landed squarely on the coding side of the fence, working alongside front-end developer Beth Downey, happily creating world-class WordPress websites for – you guessed it – graphic designers. With his coder’s brain and designer’s eye, White and SPCLLDR were at the top of the list when it came time to develop the new Cronin Creative site.
“I love working with good designers because it makes us looks good,” White says. “Working with Cronin Creative is a joy, because the design is so clean. They also have an editorial background so everything just flows, the typography falls into place and everything makes sense. That just makes development so much easier.”
