A graduate of New York’s prestigious Parsons School of Design, Karen Cronin began her career in that city at Interiors magazine, where she worked under the direction of Colin Forbes at Pentagram and rose to the position of Art Director.
Leaving Interiors, Cronin moved to Singer Design, a small-but-feisty startup ad agency. At Singer Design, she worked on projects for an eclectic variety of clients, ranging from Bloomingdale’s to American Express Publishing to Lehman Brothers.
Moving to Nashville in 1993, Cronin established Cronin Design, a one-woman design business delivering award-winning work for a wide-ranging clientele that included all of Nashville’s major record labels. In 2007, she partnered with her writer husband, Peter Cronin, to establish Cronin Creative, a full-service boutique creative shop serving a diverse client base that includes companies large and small, local, regional and national.
Karen currently serves on the board of the Nashville chapter of the American Marketing Association (NAMA). She was named a 2014 NAMA Volunteer of the Year. She is a judge for the Dove Awards Recorded Music Packaging category. Karen also volunteers her time reading to kindergarten students at Nashville’s Eakin Elementary School.

Rhode Island native Peter Cronin spent the first decade of his career fronting and touring with several almost-famous bands. In the late ’80s, he moved to New York City to accept an editorial position at Musician magazine, part of the Billboard family of publications.
In 1993, Billboard moved Cronin and his young family to Nashville where he spent two years as Billboard‘s Associate Country Music Editor. He began the next chapter of his career in 1995 when pop superstar Madonna hired him to establish the Nashville office of her music publishing company, Maverick Music. His publishing career continued with stints at Bug Music Publishing and at performing rights organization SESAC.
After spending a year as Editor of Close Up, the official publication of the Country Music Association, Cronin joined his wife Karen in establishing Cronin Creative. Clients count on Peter’s proven ability to understand and clearly communicate both the substance and the subtleties of their business. A current member and volunteer at the Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce and former board member for the Nashville chapter of the American Marketing Association (NAMA), he also hits the stage for the occasional weekend gig performing one hit wonders with his acclaimed band, The One Hitters.
A market strategy executive with over 20 years experience in Business-to-Business (B2B) and B2C Consumer Goods industries, Janet Rives brings a consistent record of results-oriented leadership for some of the largest brands in the world: Fruit of the Loom, Carhartt, VF, Vans, Lee, Wrangler, and consulting and collaboration projects within diverse industries including energy, automotive, government, manufacturing, IT and education. With her unique blend of expertise, experience, and personality, Janet also brings an uncommonly high level of clarity to any marketing challenge, seamlessly aligning market plans with operations from conception to execution.
A graduate of New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts, Maria initially pursued a career in musical theater in Manhattan. At the same time, she was starting her own bridal headpiece design company, where she learned the ins and outs of new media and online marketing.
Relocating to Nashville in 2009, the Little Rock native began to apply her marketing skills with her creative background, helping friends launch their new businesses.
In 2014, Maria established her own social media company, Lightning Flash Creative.
Maria serves on the board of the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) as the social media chair. She also serves as Lead Social Media Manager for Nashville Creative Mornings.
Steve Wilkison has been designing and developing websites, eCards, digital press kits and other interactive media for over fifteen years. A highly regarded coder and designer, his unique combination of skills and sensibility provides clients with a clear-and-seamless, trouble-free online experience. Wilkison also serves as Associate Professor at Nashville’s Waktins College Of Art, Design & Film, teaching web development and design and overseeing the school’s web development curriculum and concentration.
Amber Hall originally came to Cronin Creative from Middle Tennessee State University, serving as a summer intern and creating a big void in the studio when she returned to school. Thankfully, subsequent to her graduating with a Bachelor of Fine Arts (with an emphasis in Graphic Design), Amber returned, bringing a clean-and-fresh sensibility and an upbeat energy to projects for clients including Você, SESAC and PearlPoint Cancer Support.
Jon Grimson received his degree in Graphic Arts & Photography from Rochester Institute of Technology’s School of Printing, and boasts an eclectic and wide-ranging creative resume. Wearing numerous hats as executive producer, director, DP and editor specializing in interview, documentary, branding and commercial projects, he deftly handles commercial video production from concept to completion. Jon brings contemporary style and strategy to creating world-class video with a focus on concise storytelling.
His video productions in the entertainment sector include work with artists such as Slash, T Bone Burnett, Joan Jett, Taylor Swift, Tony Joe White, and many more. Corporate clients for broadcast include local government, as well as leading automotive, health care, education, financial and retail companies.
