A Strong Bond, An Enduring Brand
Authentic brands should be carefully designed from the ground up and built to last. Practical Massage Therapy, an industry pioneer and leader in Nashville for over two decades, is a prime example of just such a brand.
Armed with the germ of an idea and the simple goal of “being busy and maybe making some money” Practical Massage Therapy owner Renee French approached then solo-preneur Karen Cronin with an idea for a logo that the future Cronin Creative founder brought vividly to life. It was the beginning of a friendship and a 20-year business relationship.
“We shared our logo idea and a couple of elements, and Karen found the font,” French says. “I also had an idea for a color – I called it zen green – and Karen matched what I was thinking perfectly. She found that green!”
Practical Massage Therapy, having now grown into its third location, has evolved into a thriving and multi-faceted business, “a peaceful and safe space to encourage an environment of open communication to facilitate health, balance and self-awareness.”
Best of all, that initial collaboration has flowered into a long-term relationship that has served both parties well for 20 years. French was one of our first clients when we officially established Cronin Creative back in 2007, and she counts on us to this day for any graphic design or branding needs that arise.
“Being involved early on, Karen Cronin really helped to create our image,” French says. “The color scheme, the Celtic tree of life in the logo, and how all of that came together; it has really defined our brand over all these years. 20 years ago nobody was talking about branding, but together we happened upon something that’s kind of magical.”
